Need For Speed
I saw Need For Speed saturday night at the Saukville Marcus. It was a movie that I was really looking forward to. I enjoy a good driving movie. When Getaway hit the theater, last summer, I enjoyed it immensely. I was hoping for a similar experience.
Need For Speed is the story of, small-town street racer Tobey Marshall, who is framed by his wealthy adversary. After spending time in prison for a crime he did not commit, he enters an exclusive race, with revenge in mind.
Need For Speed seems to be an interesting homage to a number of classic car movies. The similarities to Vanishing Point are unmistakable.
The fact that they used no computer generate graphics was impressive. I think that was the thing that got me the most excited about the movie. I would definitely see it again. It wasn’t as good as Getaway but it was good.
